What the program covers
How a PV System Actually Works
From photon to socket. We trace the energy path through every component: monocrystalline vs. polycrystalline panels, string vs. microinverters, net metering, and what happens on cloudy days. Understanding the system end-to-end removes the mystery from installer language.
Reading Proposals and Contracts
What to look for in a quote. Performance guarantees, warranty structure, grid connection timelines, and payment terms all carry risk if misunderstood. We show you how to read these documents with a critical but fair eye.
Polish Incentives and Grid Rules
Current net-billing regulations, available subsidy programs, and the documentation your installer needs to handle for grid connection. Knowing this prevents surprises during and after installation.
Storage and Self-Consumption

How this program was built

First Curriculum Draft
Initial outline created after identifying a consistent gap: homeowners signing contracts without understanding what they were buying. Early sessions run with small groups in Lublin.
Small Business Module Added
Demand from local business owners led to a dedicated module covering commercial-scale small installations, VAT implications, and the specific questions that differ from residential contexts.
Net-Billing Update
Poland's shift from net-metering to net-billing in April 2022 required a full revision of the incentives and economics sections. Updated materials reflect the current regulatory environment.
Battery Storage Section
As storage prices fell and interest grew, a dedicated battery module was added covering chemistry types, sizing logic, and the questions that distinguish a well-specified storage proposal from an oversimplified one.
Online Format Launched
The full program made available in a structured online format, allowing participants to move through modules at their own pace and revisit material before meeting with installers.
